Installing Prodigy Electric Brake Controller in 2016 Ford F-150 with Factory Brake Controller
Question:
I have a 2016 f150 with the factory brake controller installed already. I want to install a Prodigy P2 or P3 in place of it. Do I have to have the dealer uninstall the factory controller? or make any changes to the trucks computer?

To install a Prodigy P2 # 90885 or P3 # 90195 into your 2016 Ford F-150 will first will need to disconnect the factory integrated brake controller You are correct that you will need Ford to turn off the factory controller in order to keep the truck from throwing up a fault or error code.
You'll also want the # 22292 wiring harness to connect either Prodigy to your truck.
