Recommended 5th Wheel Rails For 2014 Ford F-150 With 5-1/2 Foot Bed

Just purchased a 2014 F150 XLT with a 5.5 foot box. I have a revolution pin box. Would different base rails help with the centerline of the hitch? Every inch matters for clearance.

For your 2014 Ford F-150 with 5-1/2 foot bed, the rail kit may make a difference since you are looking for maybe an inch. Not knowing what your current center of hitch measurement is, all I can give you is the center measurement on the rails I recommend. For your truck, I recommend the Reese Quick-Install Custom Base Rails and Installation Kit for 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches # RP50081-58. These rails will give you a center of hitch to the cab measurement of approximately 25 inches. It will center the hitch about 2-14 inches in front of the very center of the axle.
