Installing A 7-Way Trailer Connector In Place Of Current 9-Way Flat On Vehicle Side

Hi, I have a nine pole flat plug on the car electric brakes on the caravan and would like to change to a seven pin round, how do I connect the extra two blue and white cables that on the flat plug

I've attached a photo to help. However, I strongly recommend you determine function and location instead of using a color chart. Use a circuit tester like # PTW2993 to determine function. I recommend using a 7-way adapter like the Adapter 4 Pole to 7 Pole and 4 Pole w/Test Lamps # C57674. You will want to use butt connectors like # DW05744-5 to match function location.
