Recommended Replacement Leg For Lippert Ground Control System On 2015 Solitude 320X 5th Wheel

Question:

what causes the failure of the nut inside the jack. trailer would not raise under load. the long screw on the inside looks good but if you manually extend the jack, you can push it back in with your hand. We have a lippert ground control system with electric front landing jacks. we have a 2015 Solitude 320X fifth wheel. thanks

On your Lippert Ground Control System, the cause of the failure of the nut inside the jack could be an overloaded trailer, a blent leg, a bent screw. A lack of grease can cause the nut or the screw to strip threads under load. If your trailer is under warranty you may want to start there.
