Best Pin Box Replacement for Trailer with Lippert 1621 Towed by Short Bed Truck

i have a 30 ft 5th wheel with a 1621HD box towing with a 2500 HD diesel with a short box looking to replace the factory one with a upgrade do i go with Reese or Lippert ? thanks

Since you will be towing your trailer with a short bed truck what I would recommend is a Sidewinder pin box replacement that has a 5th Airborne built into it for cushioning. For that you would want the part # RP61422 which is a confirmed replacement for a Lippert 1621.
This will give you the needed turning clearance without having to use a slider hitch which will save you some hassle and has the cushioning to give you a smooth ride quality. It will be the best all around solution available.
