2014 Ram 3500 pulling 2017 Forrest River WolfPack 285pack13

Question:

Will the Curt Q20 work with the king pin on the Forrest River WolfPack 285Pack13 toyhauler? We just bought a 2014 Ram 3500 4X4 came with factory 18inch wheels. It has the factory prep pucks in the bed and we understand the Curt Q20 will work with this, but have heard there are certain king pins that it will not work with. Thank you for any help!

The Curt Q20 # C16530-16021 that you are asking about has built-in cushioning that helps absorb road shock, because of this it is not compatible with rotating pin boxes like the Reese Sidewinder, Reese Revolution, and 5th Airborne Sidewinder.

I called Forest River to verify what kind of pin box that your WolfPack 285Pack13 Toyhauler uses and my contact said that it uses a standard pin box. The Curt Q20 will work great with your trailer on your 2014 Ram 3500.

If your Ram doesn't have a 7-Way wiring harness installed in the truck bed then you will want to use the Hopkins Endurance 5th Wheel/Gooseneck 90-Degree Wiring Harness # 41157.
