Reese Elite 5th Wheel Hitch Compatibility with Chevrolet and GMC Pickups

Question:

Hello, Ipurchased a Reese Signature Series under bed hitch for my 07 Chevrolet. I am giving that pickup to my son and am lookiing at a 2010 GMC. Will the 5th wheel and gooseneck for my signature series work with the elite series puck system? Or is there still a signature series I can get for a 2010?

The Reese Signature and Elite series 5th wheel hitches are essentially the same products. Reese 18K Elite Sliding 5th wheel hitch # RP30144 drops into the under-bed OEM puck system which is similar to the aftermarket kit # RP30061. This hitch and under-bed kit fit the 2007 Silverado Classic 2500 with 6-1/2-foot bed and also fit the 2010 Sierra 2500 HD with 6-1/2-foot bed. For an in-bed wiring harness for the 2010 Sierra you can use # 50-97-410.
