Can the Inlet/Outlet Fittings on Trans. Cooler Point Down on a 2006 Chevy Colorado
Question:
ccoler#D12906 on a 2006 chev coloradois it allowable tp mount the cooler with the inlet/outlet fiitings pointed down or do they need to be pointed to the side. thanks

It would not be required that you mount a Derale Dyno-Cool Tube-Fin Transmission Cooler Kit, part # D12906, in any particular direction, the line pressure from the transmission will push the fluid through the cooler regardless of if its mounted horizontally, vertically or any direction in between.
I would recommend you choose a location based on receiving maximizing airflow through the cooler, regardless of what direction it points.
I would also recommend you get a Derale Snap-In Radiator Adapter, part # D13035, so you can install your transmission cooler without having to cut or flair transmission lines.
