How Does Camping Travel Trailer Stop, Turn, Tail and Back Up Light, # RVST56 Mount on a Trailer

can the 2 mounting tabs be bent 90-degrees so it can be mounted other than horizontal hanging from the top position? also, w/ the holes in the back of the light, what keeps the road debris from getting into the light?

The tabs on the Camping Travel Trailer Stop, Turn, Tail and Back Up Light, # RVST56, are made of plastic so they cannot be bent. Also, they are designed to hold a license plate rather than mount the light. If the light was not mounted against a surface, like if it were stick up on a fender for example, road grime could get into the back of the light. A little silicone caulk would prevent that issue if desired.
