Recommended Hitch-Mounted 2-Bike Rack for 2012 Toyota RAV4

I have a 2012 Toyota RAV4. Will the Saris Freedom 2 Bike Platform Rack fit on my vehicle? Thank you

As long as your 2012 Toyota RAV4 has a trailer hitch installed, the Saris Freedom 2 Bike Platform Rack # SA4412B will work great. It is compatible with both 1-1/4" x 1-1/4" and 2" x 2" trailer hitches and can carry up to 2 bikes at 60 pounds a piece. This rack offers sliding wheel trays that will allow you to fit different wheelbases. I have included a video review of this rack for you.
I also recommend adding the Saris Cable Lock # SA981 and Hitch Tite Anti-Rattle Hitch Lock # SA3022 to secure both the bikes to the rack and the rack to the trailer hitch.
If you do not already have a trailer hitch on your RAV4, I recommend the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Matte Black Finish - Class III - 2" # e98864. This Class III trailer hitch has a 2 inch hitch opening which will give you many more options for hitch-mounted accessories like bike racks and cargo carriers.
