Best Bike Rack for Carrying 2 ProdecoTech Stride 500 Electric Bikes

Question:

Im looking for a bike rack in the under $600 range that will work well with our step through style bikes. I think this style that secures the tire rather than the frame would work best. Weight/height are not issues since my 2015 Nissan Xterra is pretty sturdy. My husband isnt sure about the sturdiness of an aluminum rack. The bikes weigh about 45lbs each without the batteries. Ease of installation is important, tilt, not so much. Is this rack a good option? do you have any other suggestions?

Based on what you described the RockyMounts MonoRail # RKY10007-05 would be your best option. It fits your budget, the weight capacity you need, and only touches the bikes at the tires. This bike rack is very sturdy and would be a great option with a capacity for bikes up to 60 lbs each. This is not aluminum but rather has a powder coat so it is solid and will resist rust well.

Although aluminum racks are lighter and better at resisting rust, the price will be higher for something sturdy enough for your e-bikes. I've linked the page to your options to assist.
