Parts Needed to Install Tekonsha Prodigy P3 90195 Trailer Brake Controller in 2015 Mazda CX-9
Question:
I would like to purchase the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 brake controller. Is there an installation adapter for a 2015 Mazda CX-9 AWD that would be plug and play, or would it have to be hardwired? Thanks.

The Tekonsha Prodigy P3 # 90195 trailer brake controller is an excellent choice and in your 2015 Mazda CX-9 you will need to do a hardwired installation since there is no under-dash connection port. All you need apart from the controller is our installation kit # ETBC7. If the car does not already have a working 4-pole you will need to add one of those first, part # 118520. Installation videos for both kits are linked for you.
