ST235/80R16 Trailer Wheel and Tire Availability for Keystone Outback
Question:
I have a Keystone Outback Sydney Edition 5th wheel model number 28-FLRS. It currently has ST225/75R15 tires and stock rims. I would like to go to a ST235/80R16 to get additional height for my F350 and trailer to sit level. Trailer axels are on bottom of leaf springs. What rims do you recommend?

Expert Reply:
In that tire size you would want the part # TA39VR for if you need a 6 lug wheel or the part # LHACK133 for if you have an 8 lug wheel as those are the two common bolt patterns for 16 inch trailer wheels.
Both of the tire setups have speed ratings of 81 mph which is higher than most trailer tires so that is why we prefer them. The outer diameter is 30.79 inches which will be right at 2 inches taller than what you have. That means you would gain an inch of additional height. You will want to make sure you have the needed additional fender clearance.
