Should Prodigy RF Brake Controller be Paired on Level Ground
Question:
My tow vehicle and trailer were parked on a reasonably steep hill when I first paired my Prodigy RF to the handheld controller. Since then the Prodigy system has been very jerky on the brakes. I found out that the leveling sensor is initialized during the pairing. So now I have the tow vehicle and trailer on level land and want to re-pair the unit. Any idea how to do that?

I checked with my contact at Prodigy and he informed me that you are correct. You do need to re-pair your controller and remote since you initially paired it on a hill. All you have to do is run through the standard pairing process and the everything will work like normal. There's no need to reset the controller before you pair it again.
