Spare Tire Mounted Bike Rack Recommendation that Can Mount on an Offset for Non-Centered Spare Tire
Question:
Hello, I am hesitating between the Thule Spare Me and the Yakima SpareRide. I would prefer the Yakima SpareRide, but I was unable to find specific information even in the mounting instructions I found online on how to install it on an off-center spare wheel such as the one on the 2006 Honda CR-V. On the other hand, your review video shows off-center installation for the Thule. Can the Yakima be installed off-center, how is it done, and how much off-center can it be installed? Thanks in advance!

Since you need an offset spare tire mounted bike rack the Thule Spare Me part # TH963PRO would be the correct rack as the Yakima can not offset mount like the Thule can.
