Fit of Rhino Rack Roof Basket RMCB02 on Factory Crossbars of 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee

Hello. I am looking to purchase a Rhino Rack cargo basket, Code: RMCB02, to put on a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The OEM roof racks have a locking knob on the top of the cross members that look as if they would get in the way. Will this basket clear the racks or do I need to get/use different cross members? THANKS

The knobs on your 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee's OEM roof crossbars are located near the outside edges of the bars. If there is enough room between the two knobs for the Rhino-Rack basket # RMCB02 to fit - it is 42-13/16-inches wide - then you have no issue. Just measure the available bar space between the knobs to be sure the basket can rest down fully on the bars without interfering with the knobs.

The Rhino Rack Roof Basket # RMCB02 will fit on virtually any crossbar that does not exceed the maximum compatible size, 3-1/2 wide x 1-1/4 tall, and so long as the bar-center-to-bar-center spacing is within the range of 25-1/2 to 43-inches.
