Installation Of Extang Trifecta 2.0 Soft Tonneau Cover On 2017 Chevy 3500 With Factory LED Lights

Question:

2017 Chevy 3500 8 foot box. Any issue with the factory installed LED bed lights that are under the flange? I just ordered this truck and will be looking for a cover. I frequently pull a fifth wheel.

I reached out to my contact at Extang to see if they knew of any issue with compatibility with your 2017 Chevy 3500 with factory LED bed lights, and they said the only thing you will need to be aware of is the possibility of moving wires before clamping. There is no issue they are aware of, but just to take special precaution when installing.

For your truck, I recommend the Extang Trifecta 2.0 Soft Tonneau Cover - Folding - Vinyl # EX92455 for a nice tri-fold design. It uses aircraft-grade rustproof aluminum bows and frame with a black powedercoat. The cover rests on top of the bed rails with a height about 1 to 1-1/2 inches.
