To convert the 4-way of your 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe to a 7-way you will need the part # ETBC7 which comes with everything needed to do so. Since you don't need the 12 volt accessory circuit you would not need to run the black wire of the harness up to the battery. The only wire that would need to ran on the kit from the 7-way is the blue wire up to the brake controller.
For a brake controller I would recommend the Prodigy P2 Brake Controller part # 90885. This is our best selling brake controller because of how well it works and how easy it is to setup. This is a proportional brake controller that senses the amount of braking the tow vehicle is applying and applies a proportionate amount to the trailer brakes. The P3 part # 90195 is a fantastic controller that will operate the exact same way but it has a bit more of a learning curve with various menus to surf. Once you figure it out it's basically the best thing around but for some they don't like to have to learn the controller.
