Which Husky Weight Distribution System Recommended for 590 lbs Tongue Weight
Question:
My hitch is rated for 5000lbs and a tongue weight of 500lbs. Im looking at a camper that only weighs 4000lbs but the tongue weight is 590lbs. Would I be able to safely tow this with the 600-800 rated TS system? Or should I look to replace the hitch or a smaller camper? Thank you in advance.

Check to see if your vehicle has a higher capacity when used with weight distribution as that is often times the case.
If you are absolutely sure your tongue weight would never exceed 590 lbs when load the Husky Kit part # HT32215 would work but since you are going to load it with additional weight and tongue weight also includes the weight of any cargo behind the rear axle you are going to need a higher rated system.
Instead the part # HT32217 would be a better choice has it has a tongue weight range of 600-800 which would be right where you need it.
