We have 2 different options for you to use to upgrade your 5,200 lb axles from 6 bolt to 8 bolt with 1/2 inch studs.

Dexter Axle has the Trailer Hub Assembly, part # 8-231-9UC1-EZ, which is black in color and comes with the hub, inner bearing, part # 25580, outer bearing, part # 14125A, and the seal that you will be needing. This Trailer Hub Assembly also comes in a Galvanized Hub, part # 8-231-50UC1-EZ.

Similar options that include the drums, in case you have brakes on your trailer, are the Galvanized Hub and Drum, part # AKHD-865-7-G-EZ-K, from etrailer.com, and the Hub and Drum Assembly, part # 8-219-4UC3-EZ, from Dexter. These hub and drum assemblies use the same inner and outer bearings as the hubs that I just referenced.

Both of the hub assemblies will fit wheels that are 16 inch, 16-1/2 inch, 17-1/2 inch, and 18-1/2 inch. The hub and drum assemblies will fit all of the same wheels as the hubs, but they will also fit 15 inch wheels as well. All of these options also feature the EZ lube cap which makes lubricating your spindle much easier. Keep in mind that these assemblies only include one hub so you will need to order 2 for every axle.

I have included some demonstration videos for you as well.
