I am looking for a 2 inch reciver hitch bicycle rack with the most capacity possible. I have 4 kids bikes and 2 adults. Any guidance on models would be appreciated.

I may have an option for you but we don't carry and racks that can hold 6 bikes.
If you can find a way to carry one of the bikes inside your vehicle you can carry the rest on a hitch mount rack. I suggest the Thule Apex XT, part # TH9026XT, because of 3-point connection to hole the bikes securely on the rack. This helps keep them stable so they aren't swinging into each other or your vehicle.
Since several of your bikes are children's bikes you'll likely need a bike frame adapter bar for each of them to be level on a hanging rack. The Kuat Ubar # UB01 will install on the bikes and make sure they're always level while going down the road.
Another option is to use a 4-bike rack like the Swagman XTC4 # S64665 which is a platform style rack so the bikes will always be level and you won't need an adapter bar. Then for the other two bikes you can look into a roof rack. If you let me know the year, make, and model of your vehicle I'm happy to check out the roof rack options available to you.
