Can Pacer Performance Cab Lights be Wired the Same as Cab Lights on a 2015 Thor Class C RV
Question:
The standard clearance lights on my motorhome are the 5and one half inch tear design incadescent bulb. The are alway full of moisture and I am continually removing the lens and resealing with 100 silicone. They are on the fiberglass cap that overhangs the cab. They are also wire without seperate switch, they come on when you open the cab door or when have you have headlights or parking lights on. Can these lights you have be wired the same? and will they stay dry on the inside? When installed do you you recommend the lens and the screw top be sealed with silicone? What I wish to accomplish is longer life of bulbs with LED,dry water tight seal, and no seperate switch. Thank You!!

Yes, you can wire the Pacer Performance cab lights # PP20-106 the same way as the existing lights on your RV. You would just wire them up to the wires from the existing lights and not use the included switch.
If you seal up the lights it will be harder to access the bulbs. But since they are LED lights they will last a lot longer than incandescent bulbs so that may not even be an issue. Sealing the lights completely should prevent moisture getting in them so if you wanted to seal them you could.
