Will Glacier Cable Style Tire Chains Fit LT285/65R18 Tires on a 2017 Toyota Tacoma

Question:

trying to find some cables that will fit my LT285/65R18 NItto Grappler. i see many that dont have the LT in front but only say 285/65R18. Are they the same? Will those work or do they need to have the LT? Thank you for your help

Generally speaking all tires of the same size should be roughly the same diameter. Knobby tires can be a little more difficult to fit but if the chains fit multiple sizes that are larger than your tire's size then there won't be a problem. In this case cables # PW3029C fit several sizes larger than what you have and several smaller sizes. Your LT285/65-18 tires are about in the middle of this set's range so they will fit.

I do recommend tensioners # PW105 to help keep the cables tight and centered on the tires. I have linked a video review of the cables for you.
