Recommended Trailer Suspension Upgrade On 2016 StarCraft 24 RLS
Question:
Trying to find a up grade suspension for my 2016 Starcraft 24 RLS. It has 3500 lb axles, 34axle spacing. 6inch equalizers. The spring hangers are really long and the trailer moves all over the place. I use a Husky Center Line hitch.

For a suspension upgrade on your 1216 StarCraft 24 RLS, I recommend the Timbren Silent Ride Suspension. This system replaces leaf spring suspension to provide a stable ride distributing weight evenly between both axles. Rubber springs absorb road shock. This installation requires a 2 inch by 4 inch hollow steel crossmember with 3/16 inch thickness that is not included.
If you have 3 inch axles, you will want # TSR7000T05. If you have 2-3/8 inch axles you will want # TSR7000T04.
Another option is to use an air suspension system. The Lippert Components Trailair by Center Point Air-Ride Suspension Upgrade - Tandem Axle # LC1565391. This system will raise you trailer by 2 inches and use your leaf springs. It will give you a similar system to semi trailer suspension.
For a more economical option, you can replace your equalizers with the Equa-Flex Cushioned Equalizers - Double Eye Springs - Tandem Axle - 6K to 8K # LC279688. This will require the Wet Equalizer Bolt with Locknut and Grease Zerk for Double-Eye Springs - 3-5/16" Long # 126B2. This will not change your hanger height, but will help with ride.
