Troubleshooting Trailer Taillight that Stops Working When Brakes are Applied

Want to know why right tail light goes out when brakes are applied

Sounds like a weak ground for that light assembly. Check to make sure the light is grounding to a clean metal surface. What happens is that the circuit's ground can't handle the additional amperage draw due to the weak ground and it just turns off all together.
