Recommendation for a 2 Kayak Roof Mount Carrier for a 2011 Cadillac SRX
Question:
I have 2 kayaks. Will 2 TH883 kits fit on the roof rack of a 2011 Cadillac SRX to carry our kayaks using the factory roof rack and cross rails?

In order to carry 2 kayaks on the roof of your 2011 Cadillac SRX, you will probably need to use a carrier that holds the kayaks upright on the side rather than flat on the bottom. This is because there may not be enough space on the roof to have both kayaks and the carriers side by side.
I recommend going with something like the Thule Stacker Kayak Carrier System, # TH830. This carrier is designed to hold 2 kayaks on edge and will fold flat when not in use. It is designed to fit round, square, and most factory cross bars. I recommend measuring your cross bars. If they are 3-1/2 inches wide or less, this carrier will fit. I have included a link to the installation instructions.
If you would rather have a dedicated carrier for each kayak, you could use 2 of the SportRack J-Stacker Kayak Carrier, # SR5511. This carrier cradles the kayak and comes with straps to secure the kayak to the vehicle. If your cross bars are 3-1/2 inches wide or less, this carrier will fit.
