Which Tires of Dually Truck Should have Tire Chains Installed for Snow
Question:
Good morning experts- My question is- we have a Ford F450 truck, no 4WD, rear duallys, and a cargo box. How many tire chains should we mount if we drive on ice/snow on the interstate CO and WY? Should we mount one chain on the front also for steering/braking? Thank you,

Ideally you run tire chains on all tire for optimum traction for braking, accelerating, and turning. If you only want to use one set you want to run them on the main drive axle of the vehicle.
For duallys you can run a set just on the outside tires too.
If you get back to me with your tire size I can recommend a set.
