Recommendation for Hauling Gooseneck and 5th Wheel Trailer with 2017 Ford F-350 Super Duty
Question:
I have a 2017 ford F 350. I would like information on a fifth wheel hitch with a 24,000 lb. weight rating. also a gooseneck hitch with a 30,000 lb. weight rating. My truck doesnt have the puck system. Is this something you can offer? Thanks

The best option for towing both a fifth wheel and gooseneck trailer with your 2017 Ford F-350 Super Duty, 4WD without the Factory Rail Kit is to install the B and W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch, part # BWGNRK1116, and use a 5th Wheel Hitch Adapter. This Gooseneck Trailer Hitch has a gross towing capacity of 30,000 lbs and is custom fit for your vehicle so there will be no need for drilling when installing the frame brackets under the bed of your truck.
I recommend then using the B&W Companion Gooseneck-to-5th-Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter, part # BWRVK3500. This will allow you to quickly convert the installed Gooseneck Hitch to a sturdy 5th Wheel trailer hitch on your truck when needed. The hitch has a great dual jaw locking point which will help provide a secure and quite ride while towing. This system does have a slightly lower towing capacity of 20,000 lbs than the 24,000 lb system you were looking for but I recommend it over a higher capacity adapter because it offers a more secure connection.
I have attached demonstration videos of these products for your review.
