Can Snow Socks or Tire Chains be Installed on Front Tires of 2005 Chevy Silverado 2500 4x4
Question:
I have a Chevy 2500HD 4WD truck. Should the ISSE Hybrid Snow Socks TCH74 be used just on the rear tires or on all 4 tires when in snow and ice and using 4WD?? What is maximum speed with these snow socks installed??

According to the owner's manual for the 2005 Chevy Silverado 2500 you can only put tire chains on the rear tires. It explicitly states not to put chains on the front tires. The same goes for any traction devices including Snow Socks or cables. The Snow Socks have a max speed rating of 30 miles per hour.
