How to Select Replacement Cushioned 5th Wheel Pin Box

A Revolution pin box has a rotating turret that allows better turning clearance by shifting the 5th wheel trailer pivot point back from the king pin to the turret, 22-inches to the rear. We do have cushioned versions of this type of pivoting pin box that you can see on the linked page. Three such items are available as replacements for specific OEM pin boxes and these are known as 5th Airborne Sidewinders. All are rated for 16K.
Each unit is a replacement for one or more specific pin boxes; each will bolt right up in place of a compatible unit. You can refer to the two linked articles for more.
Air Ride Sidewinder # RP61422 fits in place of various Fabex, Lippert and M&M pin boxes (the specific ones are listed on this item's page). If your pin box is among those listed for one of these units you can replace it with the corresponding Air Ride.
I also linked our page for cushioned pin boxes without the turret; these do not provide the same turning clearance but they do include the air spring cushion.
