Is Truck Bed Mat Necessary to Use with Truck Camper in 2016 Ram 3500

Question:

2016 Ram 3500 with spray-in bed liner and slide in truck camper... will the DZ86916 truck mat be appropriate? Or is it even necessary? Thanks
