Can B and W Companion Fixed Fifth Wheel Hitch be Converted to a Slider  

Question:

I have a B and W fifth wheel hitch to pull my camper that has the rails in the bed. I traded trucks that has a gooseneck turnover ball under the bed. My question is because my new truck is a short bed can I just buy the slider base that uses the gooseneck hitch and use the hitch on top of the base from my old hitch? It is only 2 years old and still in great shape. Thanks

Yes, you can use the Companion Slider Base part # BWRVB3405 to replace the fixed legs of you Companion hitch with this to make it a slider.
