Best Wheel Clearance Tire Chains for 2015 Dodge Durango with 265/60R18 Tires

Question:

Hi there, I have a 2015 Durango SXT with 18inch wheels and 265/60r18 tires michelline stock. Ive been suggested Thule/konig Xb-16 for it but they run about $250+/pair. It was suggested because of the brake line, it is close to wheel apparently. Do you recommend an othe chain that you know will fit my SUV? Just need something for a weekend trip. Thank you!

For tight inner wheel well clearances you really can't do any better than the Konig K-Summit Chains part # TH02230K77 which is a fit for your tire size of 265/60R18. The price is going to be quite a bit more, but if you have to have the best in clearance for your brake lines this will be your best option by far. These don't go over the inner shoulder of the tire at all so their clearance is unbeatable really.

On the lower price range we have cables which offer great clearance as well like the Glacier Tire Cables part # PW3027C which I attached an install video for that shows them installed on a similar 2013 Durango. Cables won't last very long though and don't have nearly as good of traction.
