Bike Rack Recommendations for a 2013 Chrysler Town and Country with Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch

Question:

In the review video here: https://www.etrailer.com/tv-review-kuat-hitch-bike-racks-2014-chrysler-town-and-country-nv22g.aspx you guys do a great job of hitting the high points of the Kuat 2.0 NV and show it mounted to a 2014 Chrysler Town and Country I own a 2013 which is same body style, etc.. The one thing that concerned me about the Kuat NV 2.0 in watching the video was that the presenter had to tilt the bike down a little more even with the rack in the tilt position so that the rear hatch could clear the loaded road bike. That concerns me that, especially, if you had a mountain bike loaded, you might have some real issues accessing the rear hatch with bikes loaded on the rack, but one thing that might mitigate that, that the video doesnt really discuss or show is the mounting depth of the hitch. NOt sure which hitch you guys had installed on your test vehicle. I have a Draw Tite 2, Class Three 75579 hitch and so I was wondering if maybe the mounting depth of that hitch, paired with the Kuat NV 2.0 might work better and maintain better hatch/bike clearance in that configuration. Thanks in advance for any help or guidance you can provide. Right now for me, its a close contest between the Kuat NV 2.0 and the Thule T2 Pro.

When we installed Draw-Tite trailer hitch # 75579 on a 2013 Chrysler Town & Country the distance from the center of the hitch pin hole to clear the rear bumper was 6-1/4 inches. With Curt hitch # 13364 installed that same measurement was 4 inches. I am not sure which hitch was on the vehicle in the bike rack video but I can tell you that you will likely have a similar issue with a mountain bike and the Kuat NV.
