Which Husky Center Line Weight Distribution to Choose with 800 Pound Tongue Weight Trailer
Question:
2016 Ram 1500, grey wolf 26rr. Tongue at 800 #, trailer weight about 6500#. Go with the 600-800 or the 800-1200 hitch?. Because it is a toy hauler, I have some flexibility with tongue wt I think.

You will be better off with the Husky Center Line Weight Distribution System # HT32218 rated for 1,200 pounds tongue weight. Your 800 pounds tongue weight is pushing the limits of the 800 pound system, # HT32217, and if that's your trailer's dry weight you'll definitely be over once the trailer is loaded. Also, when selecting the correct system you need to add in the amount of weight that is stored in the bed of your 2016 Ram 1500 behind the rear axle.
Once you factor in everything I think the larger system is the way to go.
