Recommended Gooseneck Trailer Hitch Compatible with Fifth Wheel Hitch for 2006 Chevrolet 2500
Question:
Hi, Im looking for a gooseneck hitch for my 2006 Chevy Silverado 2500HD with the duramax Allison transmission. Im looking for something that will sit flat in the bed and possibly have the option to have a 5th wheel hitch. Is there a setup like that?

The B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch # BWGNRK1067 is a great hitch that will allow you to later use with a fifth wheel hitch if you so use.
The Turnoverball flips over in the gooseneck hitch to give you your full truck bed back. The hitch includes everything for installation and is custom designed for your truck so there's no drilling into the frame. It's also made in the USA.
If you decide to add a fifth wheel trailer hitch the B&W Companion # BWRVK3400 fits right into the Turnoverball. This is a sliding hitch that gives you up to 12 inches of travel. Something that you'll likely need with a 6-1/2 foot truck bed.
I've included videos on both the gooseneck and fifth wheel hitches for you to take a look at.
