Is Adapter Plate Needed for Towing Mor Ryde Pin Box Trailer with 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch

Question:

My 5th wheel has a more ride pin box. Installation says I need an adapter plate. With the plate will the hitch perform the same way? What is the part number so I can place an order Truck 2016 GMC Sierra 2500HD 6.5 for bed installed bed rails.

To tow your 5th Wheel Trailer on your 2016 GMC Sierra 2500 with Factory Rail Kit, I recommend the Curt A16 Slider Hitch # C16521 along with adapter rails # C16023. The Demco Hijacker # DM6076P-UL-16K you referenced in your question is not compatible with the factory rail kit on your vehicle.

The Curt A16 is a 16,000 lb capacity sliding trailer hitch with an interlocking 2-jaw system that will help create a quieter ride and the adapter rails are custom fit to work with the factory rails on your GMC Sierra.
