The best way to fight trailer sway is to load the trailer properly.
OEM and aftermarket electronic anti-sway systems DO NOT have the ability to correct for the effects of an incorrectly-loaded trailer. They will help some with wind gusts and air blasts from passing trucks but a trailer that is not loaded properly (to keep its tongue weight around the 15%-of-gross-weight range) will still handle more poorly than one that is loaded correctly.
If you have towed your trailer with this vehicle at least a few times and have found trailer sway to be a problem I suggest that you first verify your TW is at or near the 15% by using a tongue weight scale # e99044 to measure the loaded trailer. If sway persists then I recommend using a weight distribution/sway control hitch setup.
I have linked a helpful article that covers such systems, like the excellent Reese Strait-Line that prevents sway, rather than try to control it once it starts. As an example, their system # RP66074, which works for trailer TW of 600- to 1200-lbs, will hold your trailer in line with the truck, but still allow easy turning thanks to its cam-operated design. Importantly, this system will actually be able to shift trailer tongue weight forward to the truck's front axle which will restore steering and braking performance. No electronic system can do that.
Please feel free to let me know the measured tongue weight of your fully-loaded road-ready trailer and I will be glad to recommend a WD/SC system for you.
