Is there an Adapter to Go from a Big Rig 7-Way Round Pin to a Trailer 4-Way Flat Connector
Question:
I tow a car behind truck tractors as in 18 wheel style.....do you guys have a adapter that will plug into the trucks system that would be a 7 round pole round connector that would plug into a common 4 flat connector to run our rear lights...there are thousands of drivers like me with cobbled up wiring looking for a deal like this..seems like nobody has come up with a deal that works...most often everything will work but 1 thing.. so I thought id ask the experts......thanks...

The 7-Ways on big rigs are different than RV 7-Ways in terms of the functions of the pins. There isn't an adapter for this but it would be easy for you to install a separate 4-Way. If the lights on your big rig have combined brake lights and turn signals on the same bulb then you could just splice in # 18252.
If it has brake lights and turn signals on separate bulbs then a converter will be needed, # 119178KIT. The converter takes the separate signals and combines them. Both harnesses have a 4-Way flat connector.
