Platform Bike Rack to Clear Rear Bumper of 2010 Mazda CX-7

Question:

Need a little help. I have a Mazda 2010 CX7 with 2inch hitch. The hitch is tucked under a little. From the bolt hole, Im right up against the bumper at 6.25. Im considering the Thule T2 Pro or the KUAT Sherpa 2.0 2, possibly the Yakima Holdup 2 Thanks

Based on the clearance you have I have a different recommendation than the bike racks you mentioned as none of them are really going to clear the bumper easily. What you will want instead is the Saris Superclamp part # SA4025F which has 18 inches from the center of it's hitch pin hole to the nearest wheel rail. The other bike racks will be too close for comfort.

This rack is great though, it only touches the bikes at the tires, only weighs 35 lbs and has a high weight carrying capacity of 60 lbs.
