Can a 2017 Ford F-250 with 6-3/4 foot Bed Use Sidewinder Pin Box

Question:

I have a 2012 cougar 5th wheel with a sidewinder hitch, I have a 2011 Ford F-150 5.5 ft box, the truck pulls the rig with no problems. My question is, Im going to purchase a 2017 f250 with a 6 and three quarter box, can I still use my sidewinder with that truck?

Yes, you can actually use a Sidewinder pin box with any length truck bed. It just is a requirement for the beds shorter than 5 feet. On truck's that don't require the Sidewinder you still gain a better tracking trailer and one that is easier to back up when you use the Sidewinder.

Since you have the Sidewinder you would a stationary hitch like the part # RP30081 that you referenced. You probably already have a hitch but for a rail kit for your 2017 Ford F-250 you would want the part # RP50074-58 which is a custom fit rail kit that will minimize drilling and install time.
