Recommended Curt Fifth Wheel Hitch For 2016 GMC Sierra 3500 With Factory Prep Tow Package

Question:

I have a 2016 gmc 3500 duramax , with the prep package, I think I need to get a curt 5th wheel hitch, I have a 2009 29.5 Jayco eagle , it weighs 9000lbs which hitch would be the best, I dont think I need a slider and I dont think they are available anyways for my application, I see you have a sale on the legs and the head if I buy them separately q24 would lIke to know what you think. Thanks

If you have an 8-ft truck bed on yrou 2016 GMC 3500, the Curt Q24 fifth wheel hitch, part # C16545-16025 would work great for you.

I think you were looking at the legs that are designed to fit above-bed base rails. That is part # 16125-SK13.

The head you would need is part # C16545, and the legs for your GMC factory rails is part # C16025.

If you have a 6-3/4 bed on your truck a sliding fifth wheel hitch is recommended. For a slider I recommend part # C16546 for the fifth wheel and part # C16023. Part # C16023 fits into the factory prep package and provides a base to attach the hitch.
