Recommended Power Lock System For 2009 Dodge Ram Tailgate Lock

Hi there I am interested in getting the Integrated OEM Tailgate Lock LH 007. I have a 2009 Dodge Ram SLT. Would this tailgate lock work or is there another one for this specific truck? I just noticed that this lock basically fits all Rams but mine for the age. Thanks.

For your 2009 Dodge Ram, the Integrated OEM Tailgate Lock # LH-007 is a fit for only 2500 and 3500 series quad cab trucks.

For a 1500 series option, I recommend the Pop & Lock Custom Tailgate Lock - Power - Black, # PAL8350. This system works with your factory power lock system, so it locks and unlocks using remote keyless entry. If you have a 1500 series with a crew cab, you will need the extention harness # PL9510 for this kit.

If you have a 2500 or 3500 series without the crew cab, you will want # PAL8340. With the crew cab, you can use # PAL8340-PL9510.
