Coupler Lock for 2016 Airstream International
Question:
I understand the standard coupler for Airstream travel trailers is a unique style. Will this lock fit an Airstream well? My unit is in storage so I cant measure the coupler accurately. If it does not fit, do you have a recommendation? Thank you

Helpful Expert Reply:
I reviewed the specs for the Airstream International travel trailers and while they appear to have a standard latch coupler, the one I saw in photos does appear to have a curved lip which could potentially interfere with some coupler locks. No coupler dimensions are provided on the Airstream site.
The lock you referenced, Atwood AMPlock Underslung Coupler Lock AT89006, will fit couplers up to 4-5/8-inches wide including the lip. Since you cannot measure your coupler you may prefer using a latch lock such as # 2847DAT until you can measure the coupler.
