IS THERE A CERTAIN AREA THAT CAN BE WELDED IF SO WHAT WOULD MEASUREMENT BE FROM TOP?

The Pro Series Square Jack with Footplate # PS1400800383 welds directly to your trailer anywhere along the outer tube. Essentially, there is about 18-3/4 inches of available space on the backside of the outer tube for welding.
