Stop Light Switch Kit for Flat Towing a 2015 Chevy Silverado 1500

Question:

I need to find the cold side of the brake light switch because Im putting an Invisibrake in and the reason to go to the cold side of the brake light switch is so that you know the brake pedal is moving when the brake is applied in the motorhome. I think if I go to any kind of brake light circuit that only tells me the brake lights are working not that the brake pedal is moving.

Your 2015 Chevy Silverado 1500 requires the use of a stop light switch kit # RM-751421 because there isn't the appropriate signal at the brake switch while the truck is set up for flat towing. Basically the way it works is when the brake pedal is moving on the truck it pushes in on a little sensor that completes a circuit (power for it comes from the truck) to power the indicator on a supplemental braking system.
