Will Firestone Air Bags F2597 Fit a 2013 Ford F-250 FX4 with Reese 5th Wheel Install Kit RP50026-58
Question:
I have a 5th wheel hitch with the custom rail hitch kit #RP50026-58 on my 2013 Ford F250 FX4 short bed. I am looking at the Firestone Ride-Rite #F2535 and the Air Lift 5000 Ultimate #AL88396, and want to know if either of these will install with no problems. I have read a couple of things and have seen different responses so I thought I would ask here before the purchase.

Yes, you can use Firestone air bags # F2597 on your 2013 Ford F-250 with Reese 5th wheel installation kit # RP50026-58 installed. The Reese brackets mount to the outboard sides of the frame whereas the upper brackets from the Firestone kit mount to the inboard sides of the frame. There is also a hole in the Reese brackets to accommodate the hardware for the Firestone upper brackets.
