Tube Step Brackets for 2010 Dodge Ram

Question:

2010 dodge ram 1500 reg cab are the brackets powder coated like the deezee brand. looking for nerf bars that are strong! I bought backcountry all stainless and had to send them back they only bolted to the rocker panel.Im 230lb that wouldnt work. So confused with gorhino and steelcraft so many brands just want the best for my truck. also do they bolt to the bodt mounts with support brackets?

The Westin Tube Steps mounting brackets are powder coated. They use the factory provided running board mounting holes in the rocker panels. I have checked the install instructions for the Dee-Zee and the Pilot Automotive Tube Steps offered for your vehicle, they all mount in the same manner. GM trucks use the body mount bolts as an attachment point, but Dodge uses the rocker panels.

Westin states that their tube steps have a 300 pound weight capacity, which should be plenty strong enough for your needs.
