Weight Distribution with Sway control for 6,000 Pound 2015 Jayco Travel Trailer and 2005 Ford F-150
Question:
I have a 2015 Jayco with a dry weight of 3,715lbs. Dry Tongue weight of 435lbs. Gross vehicle weight rating 6,000lbs. With my dual batteries and full gas tanks - 176lbs - my tongue weight is 611lbs.. Cargo capacity is 2,285lbs. which i dont think I will ever carry, but at 12 will add 275lbs to tongue weight for a total of 885lbs. My tow vehicle is a 2005 Ford F150 with a 5.4 engine with tow package. What weight distribution with sway control would be best for this setup. Thanks

Thank you for providing all of the weights for the trailer. That makes selecting weight distribution easier. The Reese Steadi-Flex system # RP66559 is an excellent choice based on your tongue weight. This system is rated for 500 to 1,000 pounds tongue weight so that 885 pounds you mentioned fits close to the middle of that range.
But you might consider # RP66560 which is rated for 600 to 1,200 pounds gross trailer weight. This will allow a more wiggle room if you were to have more weight behind the rear axle of the 2005 Ford F-150 (which counts towards the tongue weight).
For either system the only other item needed is ball # 19286.
