Recommended Method to Transport 180-lb Worksman SBST-3CB Side-by-Side 2-Person Trike

Do you have a product that woul allow me to transport a Worksman side by side tricycle? sbst-3cb. I have a 2005 Dodge Durango with hemi and tow hitch. Thank you

We do offer a hitch-mount trike carrier that fits the 2-inch hitch on your 2005 Dodge Durango. The Hollywood Racks Sport Rider Trike Carrier # HR1000Z-R-TRKADP will work with trike wheelbases up to 74-inches and trikes up to 100-lbs.

I checked the Worksman website's specs for your SBST-3CB. Unfortunately they do not indicate the bike weight so I contacted them. The bike weighs about 180-lbs so unfortunately it is well beyond the capacity of any rack we offer. The folks at Worksman indicated they know of no hitch bike carrier than can handle this particular product, and that a small utility trailer is the best solution.

Your best bet is a utility trailer that you'll find at most outdoor and home improvement stores. If the trailer you select has lights then you'll need trailer wiring on the Durango. If the Durango does not have factory trailer wiring you can use part # 118390, installation of which is shown in the linked video. If you DO have the factory tow wiring and just need a replacement plug-in 4-pole harness then instead use part # 118381.
